Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Wildlife Pulse processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable national law.

Scope
This policy applies to people who use Wildlife Pulse, including registered users, visitors of public content and anyone contacting us about support, moderation or data protection.
Categories of data
Depending on how you use the service, we may process account and login data (email, hashed password), profile data (display name, username, bio, images, links), user-generated content (posts, comments, media, messages), interaction data (follows, likes, saved posts, notifications), reports and moderation records, technical logs (IP address, session identifiers, device and browser information) and correspondence related to support or rights requests.
Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide and maintain the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — contract), secure the platform, moderate content and prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests), handle support and correspondence (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR), comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) and, where required, based on consent, for example for optional cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Content visible to others
Information published in a public profile, posts, comments and other visible areas may be accessible to other users according to visibility settings and platform functionality. Do not publish special category data or third-party personal data without a legal basis.
Recipients and processors
Data may be shared with technical service providers necessary to operate the platform, such as hosting, file storage, email, backups, security monitoring and administrative tools, only to the extent required and, where applicable, under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside the EEA
As a rule, data is processed within the EEA. If a provider involves transfers outside the EEA, we ensure an appropriate level of protection under GDPR, including adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other permitted safeguards.
Retention
We keep data for as long as you maintain an active account and use the service, and afterwards for the period necessary to protect claims, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations and retain moderation and security records. Technical logs are kept for a limited period required for diagnostics and system protection.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability where applicable. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Send requests to admin@wildlifepulse.com. We respond without undue delay and within GDPR time limits.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe processing infringes data protection law. Users in Poland may contact the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Essential cookies are used for sessions, security and basic preferences.
Security
We apply organisational and technical measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, encryption in transit where used, backups, limited administrator privileges and security incident monitoring.

We may update this policy when the service, legal requirements or processing practices change. Material changes will be communicated in the service. The latest update date is shown at the top of this document.
